I can’t imagine there are too many betrayed spouses who played a more intense or lengthy game of the ‘pick me dance’ than I did. However, we have now been reconciled for a few years, which I would describe as both successful and happy. Having said this, I still bear some deep scares. These are from both her affair (as every BS has) and also my own actions during and after our reconciliation. I don’t say that I regret any of my decisions during as they resulted in our marriage surviving and our family staying together. Still, there are many things that I did or accepted during this time and even now that Im embarrassed or ashamed of.
I also don’t think we had any HB. Certainly nothing like what others have described online.

Thank you everyone, for your ongoing support, comments and perspectives. Each time that I learn more about your individual stories, struggles and successes it helps me further down the road.
Again, thank you each and every one of you. I honestly value the insight I receive from this site.
