On 7 April I will be 55. First birthday on my own.... 
I never thought I would get to be 55 and on my own. I have just been reading the co-dependency posts and my eyes have truly been opened. I am a classic rescuer...the hero...but I let myself down. Big mistake. Big lesson. I have arranged a massage for myself and hopefully will have dinner with my kids. I have decided to start learning to take care of myself.
